ISPDS is IPD's In-School Professional Development Service.
It is designed to offer schools a wide selection of key topics
across the Junior and Secondary phases which can be delivered
on-site as whole staff or group-specific INSET. In-context
training can be whole or part-day or single sessions within
a school designed framework. Training can be provided pre
or post-term, in twilight sessions or away-days. Sessions
can be tailored to meet the particular needs of individual
schools and all providers have been working with IPD as contributors
to the external training programme and are leading figures
in their fields.
How does ISPDS work?
IPD acts as interface between school and provider and deals
with all bookings and invoicing matters. IPD has agreed a
range of fees with each provider for whole or part-day training
and for smaller, medium-sized and larger schools. On receiving
enquiries from schools, IPD will provide a quotation for the
training provision, which will include travel costs and VAT.
Who's in the team and what can they offer?
Each provider can
offer a wide range of topics and will endeavour to tailor
their areas of specialism to the needs of individual schools.
The topics shown here is only a representative sample.
